How DriftTable works
The prepared show runs the screen. The venue worker keeps the room moving. Players scan in, play as a team, and carry that identity into the scoreboard.
Venue workflow
The current show, schedule, check-in control, video, and host sheet are in one place.
Cast the venue edition to the TV or projector already in the room.
Display the QR and tell customers one thing: scan it.
The video handles the questions and timers while staff keeps normal floor flow moving.
The protected answer sheet is available to the venue worker running the room.
Phone and paper results land on the same public team scoreboard before the venue cutoff.
Player workflow
Nobody at the table should need a speech about URLs, codes, or account pages. The venue shows the QR. The player scans it. DriftTable handles the rest.
Time windows
Each venue has its own configured day, start time, preshow, expected game length, and score-entry window. The API evaluates those windows when a real action happens. It does not need a server process checking every minute.
